The Aftermath of The Murder Hobos Report
General Summary
The party ends up confronting the Spider and a serious fight breaks out where all but Poe and The monk survive with the Spider escaping.
Poe and the monk clear out the rest of the caves with the help of a Dwarf claiming to be Nundro. They find the Wraith, and kill it, with Poe gravely injured.
They find the forge and the spectator is convinced to leave.
They end up clearing the rest of the caverns, but near the end there is a fight with a ochre jelly that ends with Nundro disappearing in the fight. Nissa is sure the Jelly killed him or something and in the Confusion she lost Poe for a few moments as well. When she find Poe they ensure the caverns are clear and they exit.
On the way home Poe tries to kill her in her Sleep and they fight. She kills him, and after he dies she realizes the truth of the matter -- Poe was replaced by a Doppelganger at some point.
She returns to town, she hires a few adventurers and finishes clearing out the caverns again, recovering the bodies of her Friends and the dwarves. The town gives her a hero welcome and she is granted the manor. She rebuilds it and becomes a part of the community, still haunted by the caves and killing her friend Poe, even though it wasn't really him.
In the meantime, D'arno had returned to town and spoke of the Doppelganger -- claiming it had kidnapped him as well and he had escaped.
He was given the benefit of the doubt and he was hired to research the forge. Nissa decided to continue looking for the Spider and protect the people here, especially since she has a 10% take from the mining operations. She handles the security of the caverns.
Meanwhile Helda has created a police force that has also been growing a bit in power. No one has seen the Spider or the Drow since….
D'arno is now Researching the forge, but lost touch with the female doppleganger. That's fine with him, he wants to learn more about it.
She has left the area to build up her faction, and is sure she can come back in the future when he has learned more.
Spider has been looking for her.
Hildar has gone back to Neyer.
Nissa is busy keeping an eye out for Spider while securing the area and rebuilding the manor. She has all of her teammates' gear in boxes. Currently she is not ready to return to adventuring.
