Wanda
When Wanda was very little she was orphaned, in a baby basket that was sent down a river. The basket ended up in the Specklewood Grove and the Specklewood Animals took care of her. She has always wondered why and has wanted to leave to find her family. She also has relied on the local dwarves of Mughulihr and elves of Elvahona.

Father : Thaldor Ironfist
Vatraethra Ironfist has long taken over for her father's smuggling enterprise and seeks out a rumor about a lost ancient powerful and priceless relic, the Orb of Dragonkind. She is told it can be found near the Speckled Forest Grove. Her dad was a thief who was caught robbing a criminal and they turned him into a smuggler for them. He is getting old and would like to quit, but she thinks he needs a big score to retire. He was a robin hood type criminal. They smuggle mostly liquor, vices, fine goods, and some magic items.
After hearing about this item from the contact in Neyer she thought it would help.
(Raven got the rumor from a new contact in Neyer two weeks ago. Human named Caldor (The Black Road favor) from Port Menagerie (Kampos ) delivery to Farkas in Neyer. He asked to go get a drink afterwards, got drunk -- told of rumors.)
Day 1
Two weeks go by and she finds the grove, but there is a Dwarven mining operation ( and a nearby elven community (elvahona), that she did not visit, but there is also a young Elf in the forest who has been talking about leaving to find her parents. The offer is made to find out why this rumor has persisted for around 2 years, especially it recently led to an issue with a Drow kidnapping a Dwarf.) Mughulihr The leader of the Dwarves was Grutan Flintcloak. They discuss how the Orb may not even exist, but if it does it might be best for it to not come to light as it is very evil. If one wanted to learn more about such artifacts there is the Grand Athenaeum of Elhyrst in Empire of Caedal or one could try the wizard's Island of Towekind (but don't expect a lot of help), or even the hidden library (a possible myth too) but it holds all knowledge. She is introduced to the Elf, Wanda, by the Dwarf Nusdrag Winddigger. The leader of the dwarves told her: "The rumor probably started around 2 years ago, and they would like it to stop. About 2 months ago it got bad when a Dwarf was kidnapped and harshly interrogated. He did suggest a mythical library of all knowledge, the Wizards of Towekind, or the Grand Athenaeum of Elhyrst, a large library in the Empire of Caedal if one really wants to learn more about such artifacts like the orb -- but truth be told, there are better items than the orb to find which are more likely true and less likely to end the universe. However, if one was to investigate the rumors and hopefully end them there will be a reward of some precious metals (couple thousand gp worth at least)" (Insight check makes them sure he seems sincere) The Dwarf who was kidnapped was kidnapped by a drow. They decide to hit the road together, but as it is about to get dark they decide to wait until morning.Day 2
They hit the road with the animals set to watch over the treehouse. A few hours on the road and they come across a man working on a wagon wheel. It is an ambush and the fight, killing 2 and the third is let go and runs away. They take the carriage.Brigands: ☠️☠️ 1 let go (Each got one)
