Forgotten Gods Myth in Dierde | World Anvil

Forgotten Gods

The Forgotten Gods is the name some use when referring to the Deities from Toril. Includes the Pantheon of Forgotten Gods.   When this world was first established by D’erletztesøhn it gave life to this realm once again. Many of the old gods had long ago left to their respective Outer Plane, which found connection here once again for them to return.   Their powers and "signatures" were still in the flotsam and jetsom so they didn't trigger any awakening of the dragons. However, other gods later found their way into the Realmspace of Dierde and these were the Outsider Gods. It was those gods which triggered the awakening of the dragons.   Rightfully so, those gods are built off the main portfolios of gods everywhere and so they are part of the gods which D’erletztesøhn fought in the other dimension.   These gods left when all the gods "left". However, most of the gods of all types left avatars below the Earth holding down the sleeping Dragon.
