Military action

Several independent human factions demanded the right to form independent states, and rebelled against the monarchy.

Following the War of the Orcs, humans expanded into former orcish territory, and as their kingdom grew, some of the lords of the marches became dissatisfied supplying the bulk of the kingdom's military might. Demanding more power for themselves, they rebelled against the monarchy, beginning a series of civil wars with both the established country and their neighboring lords. Fractured into numerous factions, the wars finally ended following the treaties of Tepaetium and Herna, where Eretria Dimokratia and the Kingdom of Knosos were formally established. The two countries established a peace accord and set an agreed upon a boundary.
