Kersir
Geography
Kersir is a valley walled on two sides by mountains and on a third by ocean. It's largely desert, though there are areas on the coast and near the mountains that are more lush.
Localized Phenomena
When the wind comes in from the south or there are local storms over the ocean to the east, sandstorms are often stirred up and cause trouble for those living in Kersir.

History
Kersir was first inhabited by two civilizations, Alger and Eilis. Later, the darker-skinned peoples from north of the mountains came over and mixed with Alger. After an invasion from over The Kersiran Sea, Alger and Eilis split into smaller nations and Rasell, Osanar, and Veldan were added to the map.
Tourism
Most who come to visit Kersir are either coming to see Rasell, with its beauty and gathering of cultural relics, or they're traveling through it to reach Teraco to the west. Geologists have also come from other nations to study the strange color-changing sand.
