Material Characteristics

Teraco's sand is coarse and rough. Its color varies depending on the temperature: bright orange on the hottest days and pure white on the coldest nights. It often goes from a basic dun color to a more amber tone over the course of the day.

Everyday use

It's used in the making of glass, as well as the creation of mortar. It can also be attached to cloth and used to smooth things down.

Industrial Use

Combined with clay, sand is often used in the creation of mortar, which is used in the vast majority of Teraco's buildings.

Refinement

When heated to 1700° C (in some areas this is a job handled by those with fire powers, in others it's simply achieved in a kiln), the sand melts into glass.
