Personal history
Impetus Maryann Derrymoor was born in northern Ankroth to a small family of carpenters and always knew that she was destined for better things. With a name meaning a driving force or momentum, she sought to live up to the virtue she was named for. From a young age she would pack up a bag and go for 'adventures' throughout her town and neighboring areas, sometimes to the dismay of her parents who sought to protect their only child. Upon reaching a barely mature age, however, they had to let their child go as she was dead set on seeking a true adventure and recognition. Traveling far and wide in search of her legacy, Imp found herself in the tundra of the Northern Wastes, chasing rumors of a cave housing long frozen artifacts and historical records that is guarded by an intimidating clan of frost giants. Using her diminutive size and stealth abilities, she was able to sneak into Frost Memory Cavepast the Frozen Brothers clan and begin her research. In the time that she has spent within the cave, Impetus made a miraculous discovery. Wedged within the ice cave seemingly frozen in time, was the settlement previously known as Lucky's Trade Post, where numerous historical pieces lay for her to discover. Diving into the exploration and research, Impetus has never been happier, although she has begun to feel increasingly intense emotions, be they anxiety or excitement, and she is unsure why.
