House of Lifebringer

"Energy is energy, the important thing is where it is drawn from. The process of manipulating it stays relatively the same, its just the results that vary."
~ Adren Lifebringer

  L
ocated within the wooded recesses of Woodborough, the School of Lifebringer has become the preeminent teaching facility of the Life Magics. Many improvements to healing have been brought to light in the research division of the school and has become a bastion for the sick and weary.

The Connection of Religion and Magic

Though not a religious man himself, Adren Lifebringer recognized the importance of the planes and their connected deities when it came to accessing the energies they controlled. In a way that was rarely seen before, Adren looked at every plane as a different type of resource rather than putting one above another. In essence the idea of "Evil" vs "Good" energy didn't exist in his process though they originated from places deemed as such.
This perspective allowed him to see more clearly the connections between the planes and therefore allowed him to use different energies collaboratively giving even greater results. Before this there was a distinct line drawn between the planes. Those who ventured to learn more about magic typically chose one type and avoided the rest.   Within the walls of the House of Lifebringer, the perspective of Adren is taught. One of collaboration rather than exclusion. Religion is a incredible boon, especially when it comes to the Life Magics. For this reason it was important that every deity is considered as each has access to a different energy to be used.

Purpose

Within the network of the Master Schools, the House of Lightbringer is dedicated to the teachings of the Magic of Life as well as Death. Clerics as well as Morticians and even Necromancers are taught within.

Architecture

Like many other prominent buildings in the cities of Woodborough, the school is built from the strong hickory wood from the massive forests throughout the country. Though incredibly strong, the building is built in a plain style, one that doesn't boast or overcompensate, even with this being such a respected and revered location.
