Deluge: The Shattered Crown

Long ago the Queen of Frost and Stars battled against the Dragon Lord of Tempest. Legends say that the Dragon Lord laid claim to the realm, including the God of Water. In retaliation the Queen of Frost and Stars declared war, and a momentous battle began. Huge spires of ice erupted from the earth and the smell of ozone constantly permeated the air. Lightning crashed down, scorching anything in it's path, and the very stars shook as their battle rewrote the fate of Deluge. As the realms trembled beneath the fury of their powers, the Queen of Frost and Stars knew that their battle had to end. Crafting a mystical crown and enchanting it with her very essence she donned it and confronted The Dragon Lord for the last time. With the crown, she froze time itself, granting her the time to drag her foe to the deepest parts of the ocean. Although the battle won, she knew she the crown was to powerful, and so shattered the crown, scattering the pieces across the planes. Few even know about the whereabouts of the shattered fragments, now called 'shattered tears,' their existence enshrouded in legend. However for the truth-seekers, the power-hungry, the fanciful, and those lucky few, will peer beyond the mist of fanciful stories and piece together the true whereabouts of the shattered tears, and perhaps rebuild the ethereal artifact.
