Derecho
Depicted as a great dragon of enormous proportions Derecho was considered the most primal and fearsome of all gods, until he became disillusioned by visions of grandeur, kidnapping Lyrae, god of water and challenging the ice queen Lilith. Defeated by the latter he was imprisoned in the deepest parts of the ocean, his all consuming rage from being defeated now manifesting in earth quaking storms.- The Lord of Tempest's name in Iokharic, commonly known as "Draconic"Translated to "Deity of Storm"
Description
A vast dragon covered in feathers, there are ancient descriptions of the dragon god with lighting laced around his wings, while bodies of waters would violently churn at just a small movement from his sharp talons. Governing the very sea and skies Derecho's features were suitably themed for water and flight. Best described as a phoenix of all elements, his multi colored scales and feathers embodied the uncontrollable forces that governed the realms. Golden eyes, devoid of any pupils, could see through anything from any distance, and his great horns were thought to have been made of the earth that formed alongside the material realm.
Personality
Long before his defeat at the hands of the ice queen Derecho was an unwaveringly firm but fair god, content with his realm and position of power. Be it a prophecy or nightmarish visions of his downfall the Lord of Tempest began his conquest. After capturing the God of Water Lyrae and laying claim to the material realm, the elemental planes, and everything in between he became obsessive and ruthless, seeing only glory through power. Wrath and envy fueled his path of destruction, but also led to his downfall as the frost queen outsmarted him during a tremendous battle where he relied on his pure might rather than wits like the aforementioned goddess. Now cast beneath the seas his anger only grows with each passing century, his fury toward Lilith consuming every rational thought that might have sprouted, before being crushed by Derecho's need for vengeance.
