Central/Ritter (Central/Ritter)
Geography
Ritter(land) was the last of the land masses formed by Deiro, giving it a majority of all his creations from previous land masses.
Sprawling forests and grass lands, with steep mountains and rolling hills, Harsh and calm rivers, Large and small lakes, ravines and caves, boreal forests, marshes and swamps, valleys and plains, and even a small savanna make up Central. With the ocean on all side of this massive landmass there are plenty of beaches, beach side cliffs, and lagoons as well. Humanity originated in its center and over the years has terraformed the center of the landmass into a massive flatland for their large city, as well as carving the "Golden Opportunity" which is a massive man made canal cutting the central land mass in half east to west and bringing a port to Ritterlund's Capitol for any sea ship to cross, with a tax from Ritterlund of course. Ritterlund has created many bridges across the canal over the years to not cause a large hindrance in the ecosystem and allow non flying creatures to cross.
Ecosystem Cycles
Many animals hibernate or migrate south during winter as central is mostly covered in snow save for some of the more southern parts. Summer however melts any snow or ice not on the mountain tops, during this heat many of the creatures living here spend much time in water or in shade to try and avoid the uncomfortable heat.
Localized Phenomena
Field of the storm is a grass land covered in tall grass that never stops storming, constant thunder and lighting with on and off rain ranging from heavy and blinding with ravenous winds, to a light drizzle. It is theorized that Ritter cursed this land to protect a particularly faithful human named Lambi while he was being pursued by a dragon for stealing a religious artifact from him. Lambi lived his life in this land as the dragon could not enter for fear of being struck down, And so the dragon circled the storm in waiting long after Lambi died of old age for the storm to die to recover his treasure, But it never did.

Tourism
Many come to Central to make use of humanities advantages and try to create a prosperous life for their heirs by working city jobs or trying to create a business of their own in the less dense areas, But some come just for the sights taken in from an airship above, or adventure below.
