Hartan is located due south of Califas, one of the more militaristic areas in New Cheliax, Hartan controls the Farside Docks. This, in turn, has caused methods for naval expansion to out-compete its rival Fargen for military output.
Structure
An incredibly militaristic territory Hartan born individuals are forced into military service from the ages of 16-22. After this, most become farmers, dockhands, or follow a military career. Ser Cadius is the ultimate military authority of the region and the number of instances are few in which his judgment is superseded by the queen's.
