Kazama Shintaro
Shintaro Kazama
Kazama was Patriarch of the Kazama Family, Captain of the Dojima Family, and a former hitman for the Tojo Clan.
He founded Sunflower Orphanage to house the children of those he killed. Among those whose parents he killed were Kiryu Kazuma, Yumi Sawamura, and Akira Nishikiyama.
Despite this, he was considered a father figure by the children at Sunflower, especially Kiryu, who Kazama made no secret of favouring.
He was killed in 2005 during a battle with the Shimano Family, when he lept in front of a bullet to protect Haruka Sawamura, his granddaughter in all but name.
