New Ricyning

Still needing to be above the fog, the GeoTech flying cities have been maintained. Most latched together to save fuel, founding New Ricyning. This megacity is nice enough, though there is a definite emphasis on function over form. In the nicer areas can be found parks and museums and whatnot (though not nearly as nice and expansive as those in Balakotuvayi or Ingald).
The removal of TNR from power left a vacuum in New Ricyning leadership. The Delegation of the People claims rulership, though they do not have much actual power to enact or enforce rules. The largest rival faction is the Church of the Convergence, attempting to form a theocratic government for the betterment of all. Multiple groups are attempting to institute democracy: the People's Front of Ricyning, the Ricyning People's Front, the Ricyning Popular People's Front, the Popular Front for a People's Ricyning, and many more.
While these groups all meet and debate, gangs wage turf wars in the street. While those well off can afford private security, most of the citizens have to fend for themselves without a strong central government. They pay protection money to the local gangs, hoping to maintain a modicum of security.
