Engaging in cannibalism
The game statistics of a player character transformed into a wendigo don't change. The character gains the wendigo's darkvision, resistances and non-weapon based actions and abilities. Attack and damage rolls for the wendigo's attacks are based on Strength for the bite and Dexterity for the claws. The character's alignment becomes chaotic evil. Darkvision 60 Ft. Immunities. Cold damage. Icy Heart. The wendigo's heart is icy cold. Upon death, the wendigo's body freezes, and after 24 hours, the wendigo rises again at full health. If the heart is removed from its body but not destroyed, the body reforms around the heart when the wendigo rises. The heart can be destroyed by being subjected to continuous fire damage for an hour. Fear of Fire. If the yeti takes fire damage, it has disadvantage on attack rolls and ability checks until the end of its next turn. Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: Str + proficiency to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: (2d6 + Str) piercing damage. Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: Dex + proficiency to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: (2d4 + Dex) slashing damage. On a successful hit, the target must succeed on a DC 10 Constitution saving throw against this magic or take 7 (2d6) cold damage and then be paralyzed for 1 minute, unless it is immune to cold damage. The target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
