Isobel, having some magical affinity herself, has always encouraged her daughter Anistisia to pursue her talent in all things arcana, and has been the main driving force behind getting her the education that she deserves - one focused on learning the secrets of the arcana.
While having learned much of the political intrigue required of being the spouse of a political figurehead, Isobel has always much preferred the quiet life of country living - just now with far more grandeur than what she's used to as a child. Where Adrian has been at best an absent father, Isobel has stepped up to take her children out on trips around Neverwinter and its surrounding areas, as well as encouraged them both to pursue their interests outside of the realm of politics.

History
Falling madly in love during the adventurous days of their youth, the life of an old married couple has mostly sizzled out to what may now be considered "tolerating" one another. Getting a divorce is hardly a possibility considering how much it would affect the political atmosphere of the region, but it hardly matters as the couple rarely see each other these days - the perks of living in a large estate. Sometimes they still find affection toward one another, and seem to recall the days of their youth.
