The Posevi

Posevi are similar to the Ilrald in that they are fallen Daulka whom have received either an incomplete Sending, or never received one. The difference is that unlike the Ilraid, Posevi are the spirits of fallen, unremorseful criminals whose desire to continue to cause suffering is extremely strong, therefore can be very dangerous to the unsuspecting.
One of their abilities is telekinesis, allowing them to throw objects or attempt to shove victims. They can also willfully manifest themselves before a target to frighten them, their spectral form often twisted and monstrous. Posevi are also capable of whispering, causing paranoia and doubt with their words. Lastly, Posevi have an aura about them that drains the heat out of the immediate area, leaving that spot feeling cold: the most powerful of them can attempt to drain the life fire out of a victim directly, leaving them cold and weak until they are able to get out of the Posevi's area of influence.
Thankfully, like Ilralds, they are bound to the area they died in, so avoiding them is easy if one knew where they were. In addition, all Posevi have an eversion to light, thus are only active at night or in places of sufficient darkness. Therefore, carrying a torch or fully charged Glow stone is a must if one needs to travel through a Posevi's territory.

Regardless of their weaknesses, most Daulka leaders prefer to ensure any of malicious mind that have died or executed are given a proper Sending to ensure they do not become a Posevi, for giving a Sending afterward does not banish the spirit. A method to permanently dispel them has yet to be found....
