Born in Steyhill Village to a wagon wright and a shepherd, Belson was set up for a quiet, pastoral life in the remote halfling village near Cavaloshia. However, his restlessness and ambition proved incompatible with his parents' life. He moved to the city as soon as he was old enough to strike out on his own and found the competitive world of business far more to his liking. He made a name for himself as a salesman, helping a growing silk trader expand her business across four cities through aggressive and profitable negotiation. Eventually, Swift Winds Trading Company took notice of him. They approached him with an offer, and he accepted by selling out his former employer and helping SWTC absorb it in a hostile buyout. Not long afterward, Belson grew bored with buying and selling, and asked for a change. He was handed over to Heroic Endeavors Incorporated, a budding subsidiary managing licensed adventuring companies. His greatest challenge has been overseeing a brand new franchise in Vantam, far from home in a city perfectly suited to his fast paced nature.
