Burge Hetland
Burge Hetland is one of the lead scientists and archaeologists in The 32nd Association of The Sounding, led by Vincent Gifford. His expertise abounds in translation and new language cataloguing. He is exceptional in noticing patterns, and making logical connections in old runic text.
He came to the Sounding after the disappearance of this wife in a paranormal instance involving an unexplained lapse of time. After years of searching with not an inkling of clues or a lead, he eventually dug in and decided to put his skills to use on explaining the un-explained.
He is a bit brash and views truths, such as the existence of magic, commonplace and talks about them with little restraint.
