The Somnium Reclamation Force
Formed shortly after the first ork assault, the Somnium Reclamation Force is a splinter force of the local PDF that fundamentally disagrees with the handling of the ork threat. To the SRF, protecting the local population should not be the PDF's main concern, instead they should strike against the orks directly at every opportunity.
After reclaiming the Depot, the SRF has launched several strikes against the ork forces, many of which have lead to significant SRF casualties and, most crucially, the salvaging of many PDF weapons by the local orks.
Old Enemies
With the war ended, attentions have returned to the Depot, hostilities continue to grow between the PDF and SRF as both factions try to fully establish their claim over the Depots resources. While the SRF is weaker on numbers, their access to the PDF's full armoury grants them better firepower. Until these hostilities can be resolved all citizens and PDF are forbidden from approaching the Depot for fear of sparking direct hostilities.
