Foxpath Estate
Foxpath Estate, also known as Fort Sarsinghurts in official documents, is an anomalous property that now houses the headquarters of the FBCD.
Records indicate that it was built by a wealthy industrialist from Japan, Saizo ████████, as a vacation home in 1855. He occupied it intermittently over the next decade, describing it as the 'home of his muse' to several people, though he left the United States during the Civil War. He returned after the war ended, but vanished without a trace soon after along with his fortune.
The location became known to the FBCD after several local disappearances, to which they sent teams into the residence. They found a mansion that contained a spacial anomaly resulting in seemingly infinite floors and rooms. Every floor has a different layout, indicating that it isn't just a single space layered on top of itself, despite the view from the windows lining up with one of the three floors visible from outside the mansion itself.
FBCD accountants have attempted to calculate the price of all the furniture, art, and embellishments in just the mapped rooms, and found the total to be somewhere above 850 million dollars.
The only other anomalous effect that has been noticed, is the collection of spirits that take the form of foxes that exist in the mansion itself and across the entirety of the property. Identified as a form of Yokai, they are a massive boon to morale around the office.
If it was possible to efficiently do their job from a single location, the entirety of the FBCD: all its records, personnel, and material could be housed in the estate without making a dent in the room to spare.
Newly recruited agents always start with an assignment to Foxpath and are given a room that is their own personal quarters until the end of time. A reward for their service. Even when assigned to other locations across the world, rotations are regular, unless refused by the taskforce or due to extenuating circumstances.
