Das Verstorben Kabinett
Germany's occult society turned nationalized department, the Verstorben Kabinett is the primary warden of the Black Forest and it's scattered inhabitants. It focuses most of it's efforts on pushing back the ever encroaching woods, or at the very least holding it where it is now, over the usual kind of policing these kinds of organizations do. Or at least it does anything having to do with the forest first, then moves on to other issues.
Built from occultists hailing from several different secret societies in Germany, such as members of the German branch of the now defunct Ordo Templi Orientis and fleshed out by military officers and soldiers, their skill set resides almost completely in the constructive and destructive. Nowadays more famous for their production capacity for destructive occult implements, Moonlight Grenades and Sunburst being the most commonly known by the average field agent. Though almost 85% of the tools found in the field have a design from the Verstorben Kabinett somewhere in their ancestry. They are not iron mongers only, however, with many inventions that do some incredible things. The Asclepius Rod, used by agencies, militaries, and civilians across the world for it's incredible healing abilities is the prime example of their talents.
Most of their tools of destruction go towards their never ending conflict with the Black Forest and it's supernatural inhabitants. Artillery can be heard nigh on constantly along it's boarder, as fire spewing canisters and shells burn away the crawling growth. Agents of the Kabinett regularly make heavily armed excursions into the woods attempting to cull the many creatures of the forest, searching once again for the source of the forests power, or mapping out the fortified settlements of German citizens that scrape out a living within the woods. Entrenched positions match the boarder of the forest, and are always manned by the German army, as well as agents of the Kabinett who are almost permanent attaches.
The department was created within the days after the Grand Reveal, though it wasn't actually a concerted effort by any one governmental entity. Groups and governmental entities shattered by the expansion of the Black Forest and the other events of the Grand Reveal groped around in the dark for any solution they could find. Naturally gravitating towards each other, and pulling those knowledgeable in the supernatural into their ranks, they eventually conglomerated into the modern Kabinett. Unofficial as it was, they operated out of the Black Forest itself, for a time, wanting to avoid government intervention for as long as it could. The forest was even more dangerous at the time, and men and material had to be moved in great amounts To keep up with the loses. So much so that it didn't take anyone with a brain to take note.
To the Kabinett's benefit, the Kaiser saw the positives of an already formed and organized response team for a subject like this and essentially nationalized the group. Placing Otto Von Bismarck in charge, a man with a reputation befitting someone with the nickname 'The Iron Chancellor" and well respected by everyone within Germany, he gave the group the state's blessing and backing to continue their task.
A task they to with drive and aplomb.
Culture
The Kabinette's upper echelons have a reputation as...humorless. Rarely even considering the idea of dealing with the supernatural in ways other than with bullet or blade.
Their underlings, however, tend to be much more flexible. They still have a reputation as stoic, but one that is often bent to respond in a more human matter. After all, they are the ones out in the field, and they make their own judgements.
Assets
A substantial arsenal of finely crafted anti-occult weapons, as well as larger pieces of equipment most other agencies only have a few of, if any. So much so that they have started outfitting even standard soldiers with some of their more complex pieces.
Foreign Relations
The Kabinett maintains a very close relation with the Austria-Hungary housed Abteilung für übernatürliche Angelegenheiten. Often recruiting excess manpower from them, as well as providing arms and armaments to the often struggling organization.

The overall feeling of the work is dark and mysterious. I can almost hear the drops echoing on the underground floor. The first paragraphs could be splitted into section - I recon this would make it feel lighter. Do you plan on adding some information on the organizations/events in the background, e.g. OTO?
I plan on background for most, if not all organizations that I mention, I simply had decided to leave the OTO for later as it is a real life organization that I'm pulling into this one. As a side note, this is the first comment I've gotten on any of my stuff, so that's neat. Thank you for the advice and kind words.
