6.2 The Cure All
General Summary
In the wake of the destruction during the Void Titan attack during the Night Court Uprising, many of the heroes and strong townsfolk remained sick from the poison bomb that went off.
The heroes were propositioned by Funkmire (the one who made the bomb) to attempt to find a cure. After seeking out many fountains of youth, Funkmire realized that the alleged cure all was in fact a fountain of life, amoungst other ingredients, that must be mixed in the legendary coire pot.
The heroes went to the island off the coast of Coral Harbour using Funkmire's airship where they found a kappa and The Earl too his arm. The kappa swore vengeance on him.
Then they went to Tinker's Tot volcano. The airship could only reach so high so they left on foot. As they approached the summit they found a small encampment with religious symbols. Sneaking in before eventually showing face, they discovered that it was a group of Giantkin that were attempting to bring trolls back into connection with their elemental giant ancestors. In exchange for allowing them to take some of the lava (thought to be the liquid from the fountain of life), Gourd agreed to take on the challenge to prove his worth.
Gourd stood naked at the edge of a vent of the volcano and barely survived earning the respect of the Way of the Elemental Ancestors. They allowed them to retrieve some of the lava which they brought back to Funkmire.
More shenanigans on the ship followed as they made their way back to Danu tavern to plan to look for the coire pot. It just so happened that Coin thought to test the pot they had in the back which just so happened to be the legendary pot.
Fusing the ingredients they made the cure-all and managed to save themselves and many of the lucky remaining citizens.
Rewards Granted
The heroes were granted an additional potion of the cure-all.
