Knight (naɪt)
Knight is a noble-military title and honor, which carries a lot of clout. They are generally respected everywhere, and Guards often follow their guidance, even if they are knights of another settlement. During their coronation they take the Knight's Oath, swearing loyalty towards the settlement and its Ruler.
The oath remains even after the Ruler dies. Knights not tied to a Ruler are sometimes called Free Knights.
