Commander (kəmɑːndə)
Commanders are the highest military title a Soldier can earn. They command and coordinate the sum of armies a nation has. Usually they do this via communicating with the Generals of the various armies. Commanders do not necessarily have to be able to fight, but most that reach this rank very much can. Still, it's rare, and is considered a desperate move to see a Commander out in the field fighting.
Qualifications
They need to show excellent ability to lead, and a sense of strategy.
Requirements
They need to be citizen of the nation they serve under.
Appointment
Commanders are proposed by Generals and are conferred by the leader(s) of their nation.
Duties
Taking care of the morale and needs of the armies. Coordinating plans with keeping the nation's needs first.
Responsibilities
Telling plans to Generals, calculating and sending supplies and needs to the various armies, and generally figuring out the overall strategy of a specific military action.
Benefits
Status, gold, and the loyalty of the army.
Accoutrements & Equipment
They wear the symbols of their nation.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
They can be removed and replaced for incompetence and failed military actions. Definitely removed for treason.
