Dawa Aul (dɒwɒ ɒul)
Originally the title of the Empire of Dwarovar, Dawa Aul stood above the thirteen holds and led them. It is a specifically Dwarvish title for the leader of a nation.
Requirements
You must be one of the High Dwarves (or Rulers) of the nation to be eligible.
Appointment
They are elected through the Dawa Aul Election process.
Duties
Guiding the citizen and leaders of the nation.
Responsibilities
They are still High Dwarves, so they must still take care of the duties of their own settlement. On top of that they get the responsibilities of leading the nation.
Benefits
Absolute rule, and political power. The loyalty of the other High Dwarves, and a final decision in nationwide matters. Living in luxury.
Accoutrements & Equipment
The crown of the nation, which they wear during their rule. They often wear royal clothes and jewelry decorated with gold.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
The High Dwarves can start a petition to remove the current Dawa Aul, and if (apart from the Dawa Aul themselves) there is an unanimous vote, then they are removed from rule. Even though this rule has always existed, Dwarves are so loyal that it has never gone through yet.
