Basic Information
Anatomie
Minotaurs are imposing, bull-headed demons with a powerful build. Their bodies are covered by thick, robust skin, which is often dark in colour. Most of their skin is covered with short, stubbly fur, which gives them a certain degree of protection against external influences. The head of the Minotaurs is that of a bull, with large horns rising powerfully from the skull. These horns can have different shapes, from imposing, curved horns to straight, massive ones. They have red eyes that often radiate a fierce determination or anger. The upper body of the Minotaurs is muscular and powerful. Their chest muscles are well developed and their broad shoulders give them an imposing appearance. Their upper body and arms are more humanoid compared to the rest of the body. They have two muscular arms and hands with five fingers each. The legs of the minotaurs are those of a bull and end in hard and robust hooves, which not only give them a firm grip but also serve as weapons.
Genetik und Vermehrung
Minotaurs reproduce like most demon races. They collect life energy, which they extract from the blood of their enemies. When they reach a certain amount of life energy, they can enter the Incubarium. During this process, they transfer most of their life energy to their breeding grounds, where new generations of Minotaurs then grow.
Wachstumsrate & -stadien
During the incubarium, the Minotaurs absorb some of the transferred life energy, which leads to their growth. This is the only way for them to increase in strength and size.

Minotaurs show no specific preference for a particular habitat or climate. Their adaptability allows them to exist in a variety of environments, be it rugged mountains, plains or other terrains.
Ernährung und Gewohnheiten
Like all other demons, the Minotaurs need life energy as food and to reproduce. They gain this life energy in the countless battles fought by the various factions within the Black Lands. They are actively committed to their citadels and can be found on every major battlefield.
Behaviour
Minotaurs are known for their impulsive and quick-tempered outbursts of rage. They are particularly sensitive to provocations that challenge their combative instincts. The slightest provocation can trigger rapid and intense rage in them. These unrestrained outbursts make them dangerous opponents in battle, as they show little inclination to show restraint once they have become enraged. It is advisable to handle Minotaurs with care and avoid provocative behaviour to prevent uncontrolled confrontations. Minotaurs are often territorial and aggressive towards other demon races. This often leads to tensions, as the Minotaurs use even the smallest occasion to demonstrate their strength. Within their faction, Minotaurs show strong cohesion and cultivate a herd mentality based on their animal instincts. They are strongly guided by their instincts, but they have a certain self-control that allows them to act in organised groups. Minotaurs are extremely narrow-minded and tend to be reluctant to obey orders. They primarily obey only the Devils and occasionally the pit lords, and therefore often ignore the instructions of other demons. This manifests itself particularly in battles, where they often act on their own initiative and do not always follow the orders of higher-ranking demons. This independent behaviour occasionally leads to disputes, but is often forgiven due to their exceptional effectiveness in battle.

Soziale Strukturen
The Minotaurs have their social structure based on herds. Each herd consists of one generation of Minotaurs and is led by the strongest members, known as Minotaur Kings. To be recognised as leaders, the Minotaur Kings must win the approval of their entire generation. These leaders represent their herd both within Minotaur- and in general demon society, as far as their limited intelligence allows. The hierarchy within the herds is based on the right of the strongest, which often leads to battles for rank. These fights are usually not fatal, and the losing Minotaur must submit to the victor. Ranking plays an important role as it determines which Minotaur is allowed to consume life energy first after a battle.

Minotaurs are mainly found in the Black Lands and the Barren Lands.

Minotaurs have limited intelligence and their mental capacities are not particularly developed. Although they are capable of understanding some complex concepts such as battle plans, they tend to be overwhelmed by their instincts and impulses. These often lead them to discard what they previously learned, act spontaneously and implement whatever comes to mind. Their skills and knowledge are mainly focussed on combat, which they excel at.

The Minotaurs' vision is orientated towards medium distances. They can follow movements well and easily recognise contours and shapes. However, fine details in the distance are less clearly visible to them. Their hearing specialises in loud noises and the sounds of battle. Minotaurs are good at perceiving the direction and proximity of sounds, which gives them tactical orientation in the turmoil of battle. However, they do not perceive fine acoustic distinctions or soft sounds as precisely. The Minotaurs' sense of smell is comparatively keen. They can perceive and distinguish different odours in their environment, which helps them to identify enemies, prey or other relevant elements in their surroundings. This ability also enables them to sniff out the presence of other creatures, even if they are outside their direct field of vision.

The Minotaurs have an understanding of the standard demonic language, but rarely use it actively in their communication. Instead, they have developed their own language, which is a mixture of standard demonic and animal sounds such as grunts.
