Soul Crystals

A type of gem rumoured to have come into existence following the ascension of Avlar, The God-King, these strange purple crystals are said to be a fracture of The Cycle. Some even speculate that these crystals could be the manifestation of a soul who has gone astray from the Life Stream.
Little is known about their purpose or function, however rumours tell of these anomalies becoming increasingly apparent across Daënfel in recent years.
Scholars conjecture much about the existence of these crystals but much of it contradicts itself. Those curious as to the origins of these crystals might have to dig a bit deeper than conjecture to get to the heart of the matter.
