The Sleeping Giant

The Sleeping Giant was a rundown tap house in Phandalin in the late 15th century DR.

Redbrand Ruffians
The Sleeping Giant was owned by a surly dwarf named Grista Kettlecopp, whose rude demeanor reflected the quality (or lack thereof) of the pub itself. It was the favored watering hole for cruder folk, and catered mostly to dwarf and human miners and ruffians. The bar was filthy and poorly maintained, and townsfolk were known to dissuade visitors from going there.

This made it a favored hangout of the Redbrand Ruffians while under the leadership of Iarno "Glasstaff" Albrek.

Halia Thornton
In 1491, the Adventuring party of <Static>, in partnership with Halia Thornton and her Blue Cloaks took over the Sleeping Giant. The bar was still rough and tumble, but it was rid of the Redbrand scourge on the town.
