Amerlikia is the Queen of Cycadia. She is a Mist Elemental who has to deal with too much. She needs hugs. All the hugs.

Physical Description
General Physical Condition
The body is very thin and spindly and is more skin and bones than healthy most of the time. This is a because Amerlikia and Merlana have horrible eating habits. The body's pretty strong regardless though and has fantastic aim.
Body Features
Olive skin tone, numerous burn scars on arms, neck, back, and hands.
Identifying Characteristics
Heterochromia iridium and the streaks in her hair. Also all the burn scars on her arms, hands, shoulders, and neck.
Special abilities
Merlana-Amerlikia is a Mist Elemental, meaning she can create illusions, generally out of mist. Merlana-Amerlikia's mist always smells of vanilla, and as a result, so do a lot of her illusions.
Specialized Equipment
Amerlikia has way too many knives. Too many. You wouldn't even know she had any on her she hides them that well.

Personal history
Amerlikia was born Amerlikia Nytlock to Jayzeena and Ignis Nytlock. Her mom, who'd just lost Ignis and her non-Mist Elemental child in a car crash, was very mad and decided she really didn't want anything to do with her kid. So, she called her kid Amerlikia, which means raven and is akin to naming your child "Cursed" and pretty much just abused Amerlikia for her whole childhood. This caused her to develop DID, the first alter to split off being Merlana, a 40 year old woman whose sole propose was to protect Amerlikia.
Amerlikia developed a close relationship with her cousin, Ydolem Malyyv, who actually treated her ok and was a lot like a mother to her. When Amerlikia was 8, she was attacked by a fellow student and accidentally drove him insane in an attempt to protect herself. The kid wound up setting the school on fire and killing himself, and Amerlikia was sent to a Mental Hospital for two years as a punishment. Akayani, a four year old girl, and Rian, a 12 year old kid with a love of dressing up split off during this time period. After she was released when she was 10, she went back to school and made friends with her history teacher, Calvene Dracian, an accepting nerd who taught her more than she was legally allowed to know.
When Amerlikia and the body was 12, Cykadia began to double down on it's oppressive Vayle laws, hiring people to hunt down and kill any Vayles they could find. Ydolem and Calvene managed to get her out of Ilenia and into the much more accepting Middle Territories, but not before Liara Elvercilia attacked and injured the body, causing Elinzix, an Introject of Cal, to split off.
Then Ydolem went on a long spiral down into evilness, and Amerlikia had to stop her before she killed someone. Which meant she wound up her cousin, accidentally killing her cousin. Amerlikia became queen of Cykadia not long after that (much to the displeasure of the rest of the planet), and has been working ever since to try and fix everything wrong with it, including her own mistakes.
And believe me, there are a lot of both.

Pretty much the only career Amerlikia has had is being the Queen of Cykadia. Mist Elementals aren't allowed to hold jobs outside of being a Noble or a Ruler.

Amerlikia is in love with space, ravens, and snow ball fights. She rather hates gummy bears, tomatoes, and dark rooms.
Merlana likes the color black, ravens, getting things done, and wearing combat boots. She hates bright colors (especially pink), bossy people, idiots, dragging the body out of whatever problem Amerlikia has dragged it into, and not having her coffee in the morning.
Akayani likes playing with other kids her age, playing dress up, and making mud pies. She hates coffee and she will dump it all down the sink when she fronts.
Rian like make-up and fancy clothes. They also like reading and tea. They hate anyone who dares drag them away from their books.
Elinzix loves coffee, taking care of children, and not taking care of himself like an idiot. He's also likes to give great love advice despite the fact that he's never been in a relationship before. He hates it when people are jerks or keep him from his caffeine.

Religious Views
Merlana-Amerlikia is very religious, a bit like most Mist Elementals. She celebrates literally every holiday there is with more vigor and zeal than most people ever do, and does more than she should in Repentance Ceremonies. A good portion of this is probably driven by guilt though.
Social Aptitude
Merlana-Amerlikia is pretty good with the politeness, and making conversation aspects of social aptitude. In fact, she has very good social skills when she wants to. However, she's prone to introversion, outbursts of temper, and has a manner that makes people very nervous around her.
Hobbies & Pets
Amerlikia has a pet raven called Morglin, named after her (dead) twin brother. She also has a terrifying knife collection and loves exploring outer space.
Speech
For the longest time, Amerlikia had a stammer, and a bad stammer at that. She mostly grew out of it, but it pops up when she's stressed.
Amerlikia had a Southern Cycadian accent.

Fintal has an annoyingly huge crush on Merlana Amerlikia. Merlana-Amerlikia doesn't reciprocate and has repeatedly told Fintal this. Fintal did not take this well and started a war after he found out she'd married his brother.

Merlana-Amerlikia is fairly wealthy, thanks to the money she inherited from both her mom's and her cousin's estates. She just doesn't understand why people actually want all this fancy stuff because what's needed to get by is enough for her.

This is completely unintentional, but Amerlikia actually looks a lot like Rogue from the X-Men. I didn't even realise that until like,,, last month, but it's freaky. They've got the same hair and even their boyfriends look similar. It's creepy.
