Mist Elementals

Mist Elementals are a type of Cycadian with the ability to create illusions, usually out of a special scented mist their body generates. These illusions can be any kind you can think of and are usually solid if you can see them.

Mist Elementals, not being allowed to reproduce legally and their ability being a recessive trait anyway, tend to take on whatever last name the family they were born into.

Common Tongue and CSL. Mist Elementals tend to be fluent in both because a disproportionate number of them are deaf and/or mute.

Common Etiquette rules

It's considered good manners among Mist Elementals to introduce yourself every time you meet someone with your name and pronouns, even if you know them. This is because of the DID thing.

Gender for Mist Elementals is considered to be a very personal and fluid thing, more so than for others. There is a lot of emphasis on pronoun badges and things like that, especially seeing as a good chunk of them tend to have DID and gender is prone to shifting.
