Ilenia

Ilenia-- a bustling city in the south of Cycadia, reminiscent of NYC and just as important. Ilenia is home to some of Cycadia's best schools, medical research centers, and much of the Cycadian Gentry. It holds a lot of influence.

Demographics

Ilenia is pretty diverse when it comes to the different classes and Elementals that live there. In fact, there are probably more Mist Elementals in Ilenia than in any part of Cycadia. This isn't saying much because they're kinda low-key dying off, but still.

Government

Ilenia is jointly run by the city's Gentry and the Monarchy. The Gentry has historically been the Elvercilia Family while the royal family has either been the Malyyv or the Nightlock family.

Defences

There's a wall left over from the days of the Mist Wars. It's crumbley and old now and not much good for anything, but it's there. It's just a big, tall stone wall with little (very, very unsafe) walkways for guards to patrol and take out intruders from on top of it and a wooden gate that rotted away years ago.

Industry & Trade

Ilenia kinda does everything, but there's a huge emphasis on medical tech/research. Ilenians work as electricians, politicians, teachers, astronomers, plumbers, cleaners, etc, but you literally cannot go two feet without bumping into someone in the medical tech/research feild. They are everywhere.

Infrastructure

Skyscrapers! Also lots of roads and a pretty decent sewer and plumbing system for a icey moon.

Architecture

That really depends on where in Ilenia you are. If you're in the heart of the city, where the Gentry live, it's curcular, doming and arching houses with towers and strage rooves. Right after that though, you get the skyscrapers. It's nothing but huge, winding skyscrapers that are made in many different sizes and shapes until you hit the Wall. Past the wall is "Old Ilenia" or "Residential Ilenia". There are no buildings beyond the stories tall there and it's almost all igloo/dome shaped structures.

Geography

Ilenia is located on a plain. Then land is very flat amd the city is surrounded by a huge forest. Ilenia gets its fresh water via pipes from Krellya or from the city's Water Makers (storm and water elementals)
