S1E1 - Unione Wine

General Summary

March 24, 2032

1000: Lincoln brings the client, Torreo “Corsa” Belleri, to Faust & Whitmore. Corsa is being framed for stealing wine from his own operation under the Unione Milanese and asks the team to help him to clear his name. 1430: AthenaharassElliot 1600: Lincoln and Athena use the delivery to scope out the warehouse and meet some of the employees, including the delivery driver Silvano "Silvo" Montani and the current location boss Cadence Matthews. Lincoln tags Cadence's car with a tracker. 1700: Lincoln, Athena, and the nomads join the warehouse workers for happy hour at a bar called Fishbonez. Faust comes to the bar to snoop on the conversations. Athena is used as a distraction while Lincoln chats up Silvo. 2100: While Lincoln stands watch, Faust and Athena break into the warehouse to get information from the door hand scanners and the office computer. They witness Cadence return to the warehouse office, and then leave with a dusty portable hard drive in hand. Session ends with Athena returning to the office to start digging through the data and Lincoln & Faust leaving to follow Cadence.

Corsa gave them the names Orchid, Chessman, and Cadence Matthews.
Corsa’s car is cybercontrolled. Much later, Athena asked Lincoln if a cybervehicle jack could be used to break into a cybercontrolled car that was keyed to someone else, to which Lincoln replied that that was how he got his motorcycle.
Corsa insisted that Cadence wouldn’t do this to him. (They didn’t believe him.)
There was a staff meeting on the morning of the day this happened. Corsa told them everyone who was at work that day attended the meeting and that no one left the meeting in the middle, but he doesn’t remember who was absent that day.
Cadence approached him after lunch to tell him about the tip-off note and to ask him to open his trunk. Later on, Drake said that he was out in the lot and he witnessed this, and that Cadence and Corsa both looked equally flabbergasted at seeing the wine in Corsa’s car. He also said that he saw a woman from the Unione, though he did not remember her name, go into the office and heard her arguing with Cadence.
Corsa’s parking space is clearly recorded on security camera, but his car was towed. Faust has the address of where it was towed to, but has not yet looked that address up.
They have the opinions of the employees who went to Happy Hour regarding both Corsa and Cadence, and they know Silvo seemed uncomfortable.
They know Silvo has a cybervehicle jack, and that he did time, and that Corsa gave him a chance and he really likes his job and wants to keep it. They also know he’s recently come into custody of his child.
Cadence stayed late at the warehouse, very late, then returned even later to get the external drive.
There is a virus in the office computer.
