Hummingbyrd.

Designed to aid people with heart conditions, the Hummingbyrd. is a pod which attaches itself to the chest of its user when activated. By sending pulses of magic through the person’s chest, it keeps the heart pumping and stable. In case of an emergency, a hook at the bottom of the pod can sprout a clump of roots which will grow and enter underneath their ribcage, attaching themselves directly to the heart and attempting to strengthen and keep it stable as an emergency intervention.
