Despite his earlier efforts to maintain traditional dwarven values and serve the greater good, Dargo's later actions were ultimately corrupted by his association with Pilthur. His reign serves as a cautionary tale for other dwarves, warning against the dangers of falling to the temptation of darkness.

Reign

King Dargo Crugarren ruled over the Crugarren Mountain  range for a remarkable 2407 years, making him one of the longest reigning dwarven kings in history. The Crugarren mountains were known for their abundant supply of valuable resources such as gold, silver, and gems, which contributed to their wealth and influence among other dwarven clans. Under King Dargo's rule, the Crugarren dwarves played a crucial role in the The Druugrr War , providing a significant portion of the weapons and armor used in the conflict and sending the most armies.
Ultimately the Druugrr dwarves were swept up into the Great Druugrr war when Dargo declared war as a response to OondrrG'rog accusations of theft against King Dargo Crugarren. The war lasted for 300 years before ultimately dethroning and banishing Dargo to live the rest of his life in the UndrrDark. .

Downfall

Dargo's greed eventually led him to become jealous of the Emperor Unkus OondrrG'rog and his own desire for wealth and power. This jealousy ultimately led to Dargo's downfall, as he stole the Emperor's crown and sparked a war between the dwarven mountains. Despite initial success in defeating and killing the Emperor, Dargo was eventually defeated and forced to flee underground, never to be seen again.
