Eradiuum (EE-RAD-EE-UMM)

Discovery.

Eradiuum is a rare occurring solid material found beneath the Hamarian mountains of Warwood. Only one sample of Eradiuum has ever been discovered and it has never been fully investigated or understood. It was first discovered in A4-y006, resulting in over 200 deaths. Detailed reports claim all who came in contact with it died of a deteriting sickness within a week's time. Hamar's government declared the element too dangerous and had it buried in a vault beneath Warwood's copper mines. 

Robbery.

In A4-y996 the vault was robbed by unknown assailants who took the Eradiuum by means of explosive force. Reports state- A large bomb destroyed the vault door allowing a large brass statue of a man to carry it away. Three events place the criminals traveling north resulting in multiple Dredlites and BMSI officers being exploded by bomb devices when approaching suspects.

Effects.

Pure Eradiuum is know to deteriorate living matter of all kinds, causing a withering sickness before slow painful death. Being within a 20ft radius of Eradiuum is significant enough to save vs Eradiuum poisoning.

Vaneesh and The E-Bomb.

The destruction of Vaneesh in A4-y998 was due to a bomb created with refined Eradiuum. The resulting explosion was enough to level most of the city and spread contaminated Erad-particals as far as Gleerium. Thousands of people and animals now suffer Erad exposure with its full effects still unknown.
