The Silent Ruler
The Silent Ruler is a powerful Devourer that resides at the bottom of Aeturn Valley. One of the four Uncrowed Kings, The Silent Ruler has been slumbering for hundreds if not thousands of years, unmoving from its place of rest. The Silent Ruler is considered by many to be the most intelligent of the Uncrowned Kings, although not the most wise. The smallest among her siblings, the Silent Ruler is a White Wolf about the size of a three story building. However, few ever get to see the physical form of the Silent Ruler as she gives off a miles wide aura that puts even the most powerful of Devourers to sleep. Once asleep within her reach, the Silent Ruler will enter their dreams and consume all their Vita, leaving the corpse of the Devourer to slowly rejoin the earth. This zone that the Silent Ruler is considered a dead zone where both human and Devourer alike are scare and only the most powerful of each can even consider traveling through. However, animals and plants remain unaffected, giving this area a unique ecosystem. When the Silent Ruler decides that not enough Vita is enter its domain, it can project its consciousness to another location, anywhere on Currosia, and form a small zone of effect there, putting all creatures to sleep and draining their Vita. When doing this, the sky above the location turns blue, all Devourers will try to flee the zone to avoid having their Vita drained. This capacity to hit anywhere at any time makes the Silent Ruler the most unpredictable of the Uncrowned Kings, famously having once put a zone above Ashshore, causing the event now known as The Night of Cold Madness.
The Silent Ruler represents the need to take and build on the information stored within Vita. A drive to subsume and learn, to absorb the information within Vita. The Silent Ruler gathers Vita and incorporates the vita into itself, adding all knowledge within that Vita and adding it to herself. While The Silent Ruler is the single most knowledgeable individual on Currosia, it is often the least capable of using it, as the Silent Ruler is never awake. Some say that the Silent Ruler will awaken one day and ascend into a god.
The Silent Ruler's avatar is known as the "Avatar of Silence". The Silent Ruler's avatar is known for being elusive and unpredictable. The Avatar of Silence is generally considered the least powerful of the three avatars, although this is often difficult to ascertain as to even meet the Avatar of Silence with intentionality is difficult. The avatar of silence has the capacity to move through space, going great distances across Currosia in a single instant. This makes the Avatar of Silence the most difficult to catch or predict, as it could be nearly anywhere at once. Since the Avatar has never moved directly into Ashshore or Kilead, it is surmised that a large enough presence of the first flame can prevent travel by the avatar. However, smaller towns with the flame have been attacked. The avatar is well known for deadly attack with great speed before it disappears. Most Silvers never even get the chance to face the enemy, as it doesn't attack foes unless the avatar confident in a swift victory. Otherwise, it will flee. The Avatar of Silence is the one avatar with motivation to actively attack humans, as while human Vita is weak, they have very complex thoughts which the Avatar likes. As the most intelligent of the avatars, it will often limit its attacks and bide its time, making it too much of a pain to deal with. Also, unlike attacks from the other avatars, attacks from the Avatar of Silence will generally not result in the loss of entire cities of towns, instead, individual Blues or groups of Reds will be targeted and consumed before it disappears.
