The Great Shaper

The Great Shaper is a powerful Devourer that resides within the Shadowpeak Range. One of the Four Uncrowned Kings, The Great Shaper almost never moves from its home and forge. The Great Shaper is considered by some to be the most self aware uncrowned king, due to its actions being more varied than his two siblings. The Great Shaper is an enormous stone golem said to be the size of mountains. His size is not well documented as the Great Shaper lives within his forge in the tallest peak of the Shadowpeak Range. While his two siblings have shaped the land of Currosia with their presence, the Great Shaper has often been speculated to have the most specific intent with its action, for the Great Shaper is known to be a creator. He is known for creating all manner of magical artifact, both large and small, from within the forge. The presence of Undead on Currosia is actually a result of one of the Great Shaper's creations. The Great Shaper represents the need understand and assimilate the core of all Vita. A drive to understand and shape what one might consider the "Soul" of all things, one's true form. The Great Shaper gathers Vita and transforms it, shaping it into powerful artifacts, some of which he is integrate into himself, others he will let back into the world. The intention of the Great Shaper is as unknowable as the items he creates. The Great Shaper's avatar is known as the "Avatar of Shapes". The Great Shaper's avatar is known for being fluid and everchanging. While other two Kings grant their avatar's an increase in power and a special ability, the Great Shaper instead gives it the capacity to adapt. The Avatar of Shapes will consume other Devourers and assimilate their abilities into itself. It can only hold so much Vita at once, so often abilities are diluted into a more basic form, but can be called upon to reassert themselves when more Vita is consumed. The Great Shaper is the Avatar least likely to attack a human settlement, as it has no interest in humanity. The Great Shaper generally takes his time choosing a new avatar after the death of his previous and always chooses a more feral Devourer, quite different from himself. While the other two Avatars generally wander the world without any specific direction from their masters other than a general drive, the Avatar of Shapes often works close with the Shaper himself, gather Devourers for him as he never leaves his great forge.
