Kensley Proper Factory
The thick brick walls of Kensley Proper stand out as a monolith of industrial progress in Crossroads Proper. Owned by the enterprising John Kensley and his company From Pennies to Penance Foundation, the factory was the center of meat production in the city courtesy of the company's push the newly discovered Budding Cattle. Sprawling across several different large brick warehouses and surrounding by tall brick walls, the factory takes up more space than any of the nearby religious institutions.
Purpose / Function
A majority of the warehouses are filled with rows of Budding Cattle, all of which have easy access to water troughs that continuously flow with fresh water. This is because the factory is situated directly on the central waterway that runs between the two sections of the city, allowing for easy diversion of water to provide limitless sustenance for the strange beasts.
Due to the perfect location and being the ones to introduce the practical use of the beasts to the region, Kensley's company has been able to establish themselves as the leading provider of meat in all of Crossroads. They've also branched out into the harvesting of Greater Silkworm. One of the warehouses holds pens for several of the man-eating beasts, who are kept in a continuous cycle of reproduction to provide cocoons to harvest the valuable silk from.
One of the smaller warehouses near the edge of the yard is also used to harvest spines from Omırtqa, as well as the production of the increasingly popular Spinal Spear.

Architecture
The factory is made mostly from brick, the resources for which have been gathered from the nearby riverbed and waterways. Laborers for the company are continuously working the expand the factory and create more warehouses throughout the city.
The factory walls contain about a dozen different warehouses, eight of which hold Budding Cattle, three hold Silkworms and the final one is for spine harvesting and Spinal Spear production.
