The interior of the headquarters is functional yet polished, with open office spaces where engineers, planners, and administrators work on developing new transit routes, improving existing services, and implementing the latest transportation technology. The CCTA’s control center, located on the upper floors, is a high-tech nerve center where operators monitor the city’s transit network in real time, tracking the movement of trains, buses, and trolleys across the system.
