Ender's Outreach

In the End realm, there is an ender island on the outer rings holding a shell of a once grandiose research station and embassy outline. An outline, because this island was intended as an embassy for the Overworlders, and the researchers wanted to give them the freedom to express their own culture in their architecture.
It is a somewhat small, simple square building: its walls and ceiling were smooth and almost clinical in its prime, but the interior held many bookshelves and storage units filled with information and samples of materials, tools and references. However, after two centuries of erosion and no one to maintain it, the building has become quite rough and textured, though it is still standing in it's entirety. The information inside on any culture they encountered is very outdated, and most materials they retrieved and kept have gathered dust.
The only addition is a large amount of SEE-YA technology, as this portal to the Overworld started bringing in corrupting forces. The heavy-duty tech wraps around the portal's frame, reinforcing its structure and covering the opening with a strong magical shield. Beyond the shield glitches can be seen, information trying to force its way through and rend the shield asunder, but the shield holds strong. Nothing has visited this island in decades, and the runes and magic have not budged.
The only visitor to this place in such time has been two entities: Ranboo Lobeved, who managed to alter the magic just enough that they were able to walk through the shield (without anything getting out) and force their way into the overworld; and The Ender Lord, who realized someone left xeir realm and raced there to discover xeir Chosen had followed through on their plan to reach the overworld and reunite the realms.
