Knightfall
The Paladin of the current dark future. Jaded and brutal, he is never seen out side of sleek black energy armor. Knightfall hunts those he deems evil in Terminal City. The Resistance denounces any affiliation with him, and does not condone his actions. He only works alone, and is universally feared by everyone.
Knightfall first gained notoriety in the waning days of the superhero rebellion, when he clashed with the leaders of the struggle over his increasingly ruthless attacks on enemy targets. In the end, Knightfall had a very public battle against Captain Courageous. Knightfall defeated the older hero and left him battered, half dead, and unable to defend himself when the Covenant came to capture him.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
At nearly 60 years old, Knightfall is still a physical specimen. Tall and densely muscled, Knightfall has the physique of a heavyweight boxer.
Special abilities
Like his younger self, Knightfall can summon armor made of cosmic energy that grants him super strength and invulnerability.
Unlike his younger self, the armor is sleek and form fitting, shimmering black and purple. The armor is only slightly transparent, with the black energy creating a light tinted effect. Knightfall can grow his armor and has been seen in combat as large as a house. Knightfall can also manifest weapons made of the same material as his energy armor, including ranged energy weapons. He has created constructs, duplicates of the Knightfall armor, that he could control mentally.

Morality & Philosophy
Knightfall believes he is fighting a war against the Covenant that only he can win. Other so called heroes of Terminal City are bound by ridiculous morality and ethics, they are ineffective and their actions are counter revolutionary. Knightfall knows that the Covenant are ruthless in their pursuit of power, and in order to defeat them he must be ruthless as well. Victory requires sacrifice and the ends always justify the means.
Taboos
There is no line Knightfall will not cross to defeat his enemies. He has taken innocent hostages, discharged cosmic energy weapons in crowded public places, and bombed Covenant buildings. Knightfall is a cold blooded killer, and has racked up a horrifying body count.
