Ryndall Greystone, The Opal Knight

Eldest of the Crown Jewels and The Opal Knight, Ryndall has been the wise mentor to many strong and powerful warriors including Jorgmir Tall-Pillar, Jericho Mithos, Logan Mithos and The Current Baron, Balthazar Stone-Wanderer. Ryndall has always enjoyed teaching and helping worthy students realize their true potential but has slowed down in current years due to his advance age. In addition to being a mentor he also is adviser to the Baron in addition to his duties as one of the Crown Jewels. Ryndall would not live to see Jericho succeed him as he would be fatally wounded in the Battle of Stonehall and die soon after.
Ryndall comes across as mysterious and secretive to all but his closest friends, he likes to keep things on a need to know basis and would rather not trouble others with worrisome information especially if they are not able to do anything about the specific situation. He Also holds great information on conflicts and people of interest in Old Heart and the Rell Alliance.

History

Since he could Walk Ryndal has been their for him teaching him how to wield the hammer, showing him how to decipher the runes. Ryndal is the man that has made Balthazar who he is today, and Balthazar reveres him like a father figure. Whenever something troubles the Baron's mind Ryndal is called forth for counsel.
