Quickly rising to the top, House Al-Mari is the newest addition to the Esultare. They made their position known by sheer power and force of will. Mercenary princess from all across the sea are an exotic novelty to see among the nobles of Ilrien.

House Al-Mari is the house of merit. They do not tolerate useless people among their midst. Serve them well and your position within the family will rise. And who knows, maybe one day, you will be granted the opportunity to earn the surname Al-Mari and become one of the leaders of Ilrien yourself. This is the reason why some people view these aristocrats as more tolerable than others, because they do not disciminate who will and who shall not rise to power. The only thing importnat is you helping the house gain more strength. Who cares about gender, social background, religion or some other minor details. You can rest assured that whoever Al-Mari now stands there before you has earnt their respect and position within the House and therefore it's not wise to trifle with them unless you are willing to bare the consequences.
Even though its members have embraced all that comes along with being a noble, they still retain some of the ways and views of the world as the ruthless and efficient mercenaries they once were. They pursue their goals directly, even though they have adapted to the more nuanced power plays of other houses in Ilrien. They are as sharp as the blades their proudly carry with them to any and every social event of the season.
