The Seal of the Harbinger of Madness
The rough stone walls gradually giving way to a cavern suffused with an unnatural purple glow. The Seal of Madness dominates the center of a giant cavern, a large magical seal, pulsating faintly with kaleidoscopic light. Its twisted energies ripple through the room, warping the air and casting eerie shadows across the jagged stone walls.
Your attention is immediately drawn to six grotesque creatures prowling the seal’s perimeter. These Thornspawn —amalgamations of muscle, sharp bone, and dripping poison—move with an unsettling predatory grace, their glowing purple eyes scanning the chamber.
- Guldraugh (Dwarven Blacksmith): A stout dwarf with soot-streaked skin and a tangled red beard. His eyes flicker with recognition and desperate hope when he spots the adventurers.
- Gunther Galdragh (Dwarf Blacksmith): An old, drunkard blacksmith, with a highly racist attitude to non-dwarves.
- Tivin (Half-Elven Carpenter): A wiry half-elf with a scar along his cheek and tools still clinging to his belt.
- Hook: Tivin is an expert at crafting and repairing equipment, offering his skills in exchange for saving his life.
- Mina (Human Farmer): A vibrant tiefling with faded face paint and a broken lute strapped to her back. She hums faintly under her breath, as if trying to ward off the creeping whispers.
- Hook: Mina knows songs and tales of old fey legends, including whispers of the Queen of Thorns.
- Korvan (Human Farmer): A burly man with calloused hands and a simple tunic, his face etched with worry for his family.
- Vetra (Halfling Merchant): A young halfling woman with a determined expression, clutching a satchel tightly despite her bindings.
Upon defeating the thornspawn and using the ritual to unbind the Harbinger of Madness from the Queen release Madren, Child of Twilight and Whispers home to his father @Oberon
