Gunther Galdragh
- Discounted Disaster: Gunther sells players cheap but faulty weapons, leading to a quest to fix or upgrade them elsewhere.
- Dwarven Loyalty Test: Gunther offers discount services to dwarves, subtly testing how far his customers will go to endure poor craftsmanship for a lower price.
- Misplaced Item: He accidentally sells an item of value (like a family heirloom) and asks the players to retrieve it from the wrong customer.
Biography
Gunther’s reputation as Minroe’s “least proficient” blacksmith is legendary. He learned basic smithing from his grandfather but quickly replaced skill with shortcuts and favors for other dwarves. He dislikes non-dwarves and is infamously sloppy, often seen with a tankard rather than a hammer in hand.
Personality
Blunt, surly, and openly biased toward dwarves, Gunther is known for cutting corners and being as careless with his words as he is with metal. He’s unrepentantly racist, though he has a soft spot for dwarven patrons who can overlook his flaws.
