Esdrin’s Band
A large bandit gang with approximately 300 members. This band is entirely mounted, but keeps numerous captives to cook, clean and maintain their camps. They band shelters in a number of camps along the southern edge of the Great North Wood. The band raids villages, merchants’ caravans, and religious establishments. The band gets much of its food supply through cattle rustling and its mounts through thieving horses. Whenever major efforts are made to destroy the bands they tend to move deep into the forest to evade pursuit and will remain there to efforts slack off.
The leader of this group, Kallin Ardos Esdrin is a former knight who went outlaw after he murdered his liege lord over a perceived insult. He was followed into his outlaw life by a handful of his loyal men-at-arms. Since then he has gathered out-of-work, mercenaries, bandits and escaped convicts to swell the strength of his band.
