An adventuring party that rallied together the most powerful creatures across the planet of Ea who had been enslaved by the High Lamia concludes its years-long journey of seemingly runaway success only a few short steps from killing The Scalequeen herself in a sudden and humiliating defeat by her youngest daughter, who condemns them to digestion over the course of the next hundred years.
