One of Two Pines' two deputies of the Town Watch. James is a clever fighter with quick steel and a quicker wit. While he prefers to shut down problems before the escalate, his training under veterans of The Lizardfolk Wars has made him a worthy swordsman in his own right. He shares a rivalry with his fellow deputy, Paete Mrazek, and tends to operate inside the walls of Two Pines where his social skills are most useful in keeping the peace.
