the Alchemist, Sir Azul Deadovitch
Azul is a human being raised in a major city all their life with no formal combat training. Raised in a middle class neighborhood, they have learned how to stay out of a fight and how to bargain. Life for them was pretty normal until the Salgos when they turned 16, and several large Beasts attacked the school they were learning medicine at. Azul and a two other students were punctured by a
Rainbow Steer's horns and thus developed
Beasthropy. Azul's
Beasthropy caused their hair to turn brilliant blue and their legs from the hips down to anthropomorphize into hooves and blue furred hindquarters. This transformation was the most severe of all the cases, and made Azul miss their last semester of school because they had to relearn walking.
After finishing school they traveled to a massive city full of aristocrats and scholars to apprentice as a court physician for a lord who was very hateful towards affected people, so Azul learned to hide their features except when around more accepting nurses.
'Azul' means blue which is ironic because that's not a nickname, that's their real name. It was given to them when they were born because of the blue flowers that were in bloom at the time.
Azul has only recently learned any sort of combat art, so in battle takes a more support position, using their mind to make brews and throwing daggers. In the Group Azul is the smart guy.
Physical Description

Large double layered skirts with an apron and lots of pockets. holsters attached to a belt, simple men's working blouses with stains, a short cloak with a hood and many pockets, a simple bandana over their hair.

Employed as a court physician when they first meet the group. They soon after quit that position and join the Artisan Knights to work as a medicine maker and doctor.
Some pretty body image issues, basically had their sense of body uprooted suddenly then they were taught nothing but repression. Needs some self love desperately. All this abuse and bad teaching gave them PTSD and dysphoria which is triggered by reflections of themself, people yelling at them, being given orders, and being asked about their work. They describe this as being weak in the knees and a tightness in the chest. The dysphoria is so bad that they must wear floor length skirts. Also the dysphoria is half the reason why pants are uncomftorable.

Caffeine addiction that's pretty severe.
Hates the feeling of wearing pants, so only wears skirts and legwarmers. They also wear boxers chill.
Showers regularly, clean shaven, knows zero hair management stratagies and suffers because of it. Like the bandana hides how actually messy it is, its comb-snappingly curly and fairly long so without the bandana it would be an insane messy afro.

History
Azul is at once fascinated and put off by everything Taelondrom can do. Taelondrom thinks the kid isn't all that bright and pretty annoying. Maybe if they spill their hearts out they could get an understanding.

From two far flung branches of the same ancient bloodline, they have seen each other once when Azul was less than a year old and Nightingale was a child in the Stronghold's program. Azul was at the Stronghold then because their father was putting in a request for the Assassin Knights. Meeting as adults tensions are icy and neither like what the other has become.

History
Azul met Percival and then his group helped them out of a bad situation. Percival was the one who put in the good word for Azul to join the Artisan Knights. Azul doesn't know Percival as well as the others yet but that hasn't stopped the respect from happening. Also Azul knows next to nothing about the Stronghold's culture so doesn't think of Percival as old.
